These are illustrations and animations I was tasked with creating for a piece for a non-profit organization that was concerning some social issues back in 2016. Ultimately this piece never aired, but the illustrations and animations were loads of fun to create! All illustrations and animations were designed and animated by myself, painstakingly by hand, frame by frame. The background city scene illustrations are based on several different neighborhoods of San Francisco that I researched. Quite a bit of work went into figuring out how to animate those grocery items falling into the grocery cart. I also did a small bit of character development for this project that was cut as the art direction changed some.
